Scherning: "We want to land the first home win of the season"

Union Berlin coach Urs Fischer wants to secure the first home win of the season against Borussia Mönchengladbach on Sunday (5:30 p.m.).

"We want to land the first home win of the season," said Fischer on Friday. "We have to be brave and courageous."

Union are unbeaten in their last four games, but have only drawn once at home so far this season. Gladbach, on the other hand, have won their last two games and are in good form.

"We know that it will be a difficult game," said Union captain Christopher Trimmel. "But we are confident that we can win."

Union will be without the suspended Rani Khedira and the injured Andras Schäfer.
